OCEANS OF POSSIBILITIES FOR AGES 5-10

Great programs ahead  on Wednesdays!

 *June 8--Texas Snakes & More at 2:30 pm
*June 15--Books Alive --Princess Penelope at 2:00 pm
*June 22--Little Mermaid Sing-Along at 2:30 pm
*June 29--CATCH with Harris Health at 2:00 pm

*July 6--Houston Ballet at 2:00 pm
July 13--Pirate Hunt from 10:00 am to noon
*July 20--Ocean Day at 2:00 pm
​**July 27--Kids Crochet!  For ages 8-12 at 2:00 pm

More about CATCH--Coordinated Approach to Child Health
  • Designed to create behavior change by enabling children to identify healthy foods and increase physical activity that they engage in each day.
  • For elementary school and middles school ages
  • All classes are taught by registered dietitians
  • Lesson topics include: GO/SLOW/WHOA foods, MyPlate, added vs. natural sugars, whole grains, healthy snacking, physical activity, and more.

Both will be outdoor activities created by our own library staff with theme-related activities and crafts.
