Q: What is the difference between Buy-A-Book donations and undesignated donations?
A: Typically Buy-a-Book donations are dedicated to the purchase of books and media supplies for the Library in honor of or in memory of a person. Gift books through Buy-A-Book have a special commemorative book plate affixed. Undesignated donations may be used for programs, supplies for other events, training, and other specific needs as identified by the Librarians without a designee. |
gift a family member or friend with a Donation in their honor or in their memory--
or just make a donation to the library!
You can make a donation from this page in the name of a friend or relative either through The Friends' Buy-A-Book campaign or as an undesignated gift. A gift in someone's name is a wonderful way to show book and library loving people in your life that you know what matters to them. It honors the named person and provides pleasure to library patrons. It is a lasting gift! OR you can make an unspecified donation here as well. All gifts and donations help to maintain our Library's excellence and increase its value to the entire community.
